Sunday Funday!

Sunday was a really long amazing day! I was up at 5 am (feeding Eden) then got myself ready and Ross up by 5 30 so we could leave by 6 to head to College Station. Ross had planned on playing at our old church (Grace Bible) so we had to be there by 7 30. So we went to church, and it was almost like we had never left. Ross jumped right in with the band and I to the nursery with the kids. It was so great catching up with friends we had not seen in a while. Ross and I went to the first service which was an amazing reminder of why we really love it there at Grace. Brian just has a way of speaking to us on such a deep spiritual level that we cannot find anywhere else. During the second service I volunteered in the nursery where I was able to catch up with some friends and play with some babies. Great FUN! After church we were invited over for lunch and fellowship at the worship leader Tim's house. We had a great time over there and Tim and his wife were so welcoming. Great food and conversation. Next we were off to our friend Josh's house where we got to meet his new baby girl June (6 wks old). We went out for a great dinner at Fish Daddy's, one of mine and Ross' favorite spots, with Josh, Whitney, June, Justin, and his wife Angela. (Thanks for dinner Josh!) We all connect and get along so well and its nice that Josh and Whitney decided to join the club and have a baby so we have even more in common now. Wanna join Justin and Angela ;)? Over all it was a great day, and it goes without saying that we really hope/pray that CS is where God has us sometime in the near future!

  1. I'm so glad you commented on my blog! I love you you have one too. Eden is adorable and her pierced ears make her look so girlie. I always debated getting Cali's pierced. Probably should have though, then no one would have questioned whether or not she was a girl:)

  2. No prob... I love seeing pics of Cali... she is presh and she has never looked like a little boy to me! :) Im glad I got Eden's ears pierced even though she had to go through pain for a few mins. Might as well do it while she is little and wont remember or be able to play with them. Maybe with the new baby girl you can take them both to get them done at the same time :)
